Join the Upper Big Wood River Grange and the Wood River Seed Library for their annual seed & plant swap. On Saturday, May 24 from 10am-noon, community members bring their seeds and plants to share, many of which are free, and some local farmers will have plant starts for sale. Master Gardener Manon will be there to answer gardening questions.
The Wood River Valley Farmers Markets will be hosting a pop-up farmers market at the Upper Big Wood River Grange from 10 am to 1 pm in conjunction with the exchange. Grab your plant starts and fresh spring produce all in one place.
There will also be an open house of the gardening shed in the backyard of the Grange, where a community garden awaits gardeners looking for a plot to grow their own food and flowers.
The Wood River Valley Locally Grown Guide is a free marketing tool for businesses who grow, use, and promote locally grown food. The Guide reaches over 15,000 people annually.
