Common Ground Film in Sun Valley

We have some exciting news! The Sun Valley premiere of the Common Ground film, the highly anticipated sequel to Kiss the Ground, is coming to the Sun Valley Opera House on Friday, March 22nd. Doors open at 5:30 pm, showtime is 6:30 pm.

After the screening, Aimée Christensen, founder of Christensen Global and the Sun Valley Institute for Resilience, will lead a Q&A session with Eric Dillon, the producer of Common Ground, along with SVIR Executive Director Amy Mattias, and Glenn Elzinga, Idaho rancher and owner of Alderspring Ranch.

Common Ground Film post screening q&A

Filmmakers and farmers Josh and Rebecca Tickell released the internationally recognized Kiss the Ground in 2020. That film explores the ways regenerative agriculture can stabilize the climate, restore ecosystem functions, and provide abundant food supplies. Kiss the Ground helped bring recognition and acceptance for the power of regenerative agriculture.

The follow-up, Common Ground is a film that goes into depth on the unseen drivers of our current food system and exposes how unjust practices have forced farmers into making decisions that are bad for their land, their health, and the Earth. Going beyond exposé, the fill also profiles the hopeful movement of diverse farmers using alternative models of agriculture that can balance the climate, save our health and stabilize the agricultural economy.

We are very excited that the Common Ground film is coming to Sun Valley. We’re looking forward to a lively discussion after the screening. Purchase tickets here!
